Stephen Robinson

Registered Counsellor
and Psychotherapist (BACP)

Stephen offers counselling for problems such as low mood, loss, relationship difficulties and identity or self-esteem issues. He also has expertize in providing therapy for victims of sexual violence, including childhood abuse and adult sexual violence. He has a great deal of experience in working with longer-term problems that may be linked to earlier experiences.

With extensive experience as a CBT practitioner Nicola works with individuals to tackle behavioural issues such as depression, anxiety, stress and anger issues. She also offers treatment for anxiety disorders, panic attacks and trauma.

Gillian Hughes

Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist

Gillian works with adults, children and young people who experience anxiety, depression and trauma. She is an experienced CBT therapist, leading psychological services within GP practices. Gillian has completed additional specialist training in EMDR and Mindfulness.

& Young Persons Counsellor

Michelle works with children and young people experiencing difficulties such as low mood, anxiety, phobias, family issues and exam stress. She provides bespoke counselling for school refusal and for those with learning difficulties and autism.

Moira Anketell B. Ed.

BACP Accredited Person Centred Counsellor

Moira provides counselling for both individuals and couples with a wide range of perplexing issues, including sadness, loneliness, relationship difficulties, loss, regret or change. Through ‘person centred counselling’ she helps individuals take control for your life and actions. Moira is also a counselling supervisor.

Marie is experienced in short-term counselling for issues such as stress, anxiety, low mood and panic. She also offers counselling for longer-term issues such as relationship breakdown, trauma, infertility or major life change. Marie has extensive experience in working with bereavement and loss.

Anat works with issues that include anxiety, depression, stress and relationship issues, offering long-term or short-term therapy depending on individual needs. Anat’s focus on client’s needs and creating a safe and comfortable space to explore thoughts and difficulties.

With over 15 years of experience Anne is a trauma therapist, working with adults and children. She has specialist training is trauma treatments, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Thought Field Therapy.

Joy Gowdy

Accredited Counsellor with
the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC)

Joy has over 18 years experience in delivering effective integrative counselling for depression, anxiety, loss and bereavement, abuse (physical, emotional and sexual) and trauma support. She has particular experience in working cross-culturally. Joy also offers supervision to counsellors and those in other helping professions.

Nikki Johnston

Nikki provides integrative counselling for a range of issues including low mood, low self-esteem and confidence, stress, anxiety, depression, loss and bereavement, and relationship issues. She has particular experience in working with carers and individuals who have experienced trauma. Nikki also has specialist training in the Psychology of Eating, Insomnia Relief, Mindfulness and Mindfulness Based CBT.
