Stephen Robinson

Registered Counsellor
and Psychotherapist (BACP)

Stephen offers counselling for problems such as low mood, loss, relationship difficulties and identity or self-esteem issues. He also has expertize in providing therapy for victims of sexual violence, including childhood abuse and adult sexual violence. He has a great deal of experience in working with longer-term problems that may be linked to earlier experiences.

With extensive experience as a CBT practitioner Nicola works with individuals to tackle behavioural issues such as depression, anxiety, stress and anger issues. She also offers treatment for anxiety disorders, panic attacks and trauma.

Gillian works with adults, children and young people who experience anxiety, depression and trauma. She is an experienced CBT therapist, leading psychological services within GP practices. Gillian has completed additional specialist training in EMDR and Mindfulness.

Michelle works with children and young people experiencing difficulties such as low mood, anxiety, phobias, family issues and exam stress. She provides bespoke counselling for school refusal and for those with learning difficulties and autism.

Moira provides counselling for both individuals and couples with a wide range of perplexing issues, including sadness, loneliness, relationship difficulties, loss, regret or change. Through ‘person centred counselling’ she helps individuals take control for your life and actions. Moira is also a counselling supervisor.

Joy Gowdy

Joy has over 18 years experience in delivering effective integrative counselling for depression, anxiety, loss and bereavement, abuse (physical, emotional and sexual) and trauma support. She has particular experience in working cross-culturally. Joy also offers supervision to counsellors and those in other helping professions.


Nikki Johnston

Nikki provides integrative counselling for a range of issues including low mood, low self-esteem and confidence, stress, anxiety, depression, loss and bereavement, and relationship issues. She has particular experience in working with carers and individuals who have experienced trauma. Nikki also has specialist training in the Psychology of Eating, Insomnia Relief, Mindfulness and Mindfulness Based CBT.
