How I work
My training in counselling, while primarily Person Centred, is Integrative which means I am qualified to make use of a variety of counselling approaches and methods to suit the needs of the individual.
I work closely with clients to identify the source and nature of difficulties and, together, to address those issues with the aim of facilitating growth and change for the client.
Who I work with
I work in private practice with adults but have also had experience in working within agencies both in Edinburgh and Northern Ireland. My initial counselling work was within an Employee Assistance Programme.
I have experience in Critical Incidence Debrief and have a particular interest in those working cross culturally .
Qualifications
AQA Advanced Diploma in Counselling
Certificate in Pastoral Counselling (University of Nottingham)
B.A. (Open University)
Registered Counsellor Member, Professional Standards Authority Accredited Register.

£40 per session
